Palawan Attractions
Palawan is a narrow archipelago of 1,780 islands on the western border of the Philippines,it is biggest province in terms of land area. It is bounded by the South China Sea on the west and Sulu Sea on the East.
Palawan is known as " Last Ecological Frontier of the Philippines, a distinction bestowed upon the province because of it's unique ecological balance that has been preserved in the midst of rapid changes and economic growth.
The province boasts of two World Heritage Site: The Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park and the prestine Tubbataha Reef National Marine Park in the Sulu Sea.
Puerto Princesa is the capital of Palawan and it lies in the heart of archipelagic province. The largest city in the Philippines, wellknown for being clean,peaceful and progressive.
Iwahig Prison & Penal Farm

Originally known as Iwahig Penal Colony. It is one of a kind prison, built like normal community, Iwahig's system allows detainees called "colonists" who work and live without being bounded by walls. Tourists are welcome to visit and to purchase souvenir handicraft made by prisoners.
Palawan Wildlife Rescue & Conservation Center
Popularly known as Crocodile farm, a 10 hectare farm. Built to help protect endangered species of crocodiles found in the Philippines. Tourist can visit the small zoo that houses animals indigenious to Palawan.
Palawan Museum
The Palawan Museum at Mendosa Park displays archaelogical artifacts and other items that provides a good overview of the province's history, art and culture.

Plaza Cuartel
The site was formally the military headquarters of the Spaniards and consequently by the Americans.In WWII, during Japanese occupation, 154 American prisoners of war were imprisoned in this garrison. On the final year of the war, the POW's were sent down to the dungeo, drums of petrolwere poured onto them& lit up; 143 burnt to death while 11 escaped. After the war, it was again ccupied by the Americans, later by the Philippines constabulary, then by the national Police. In 1997, it was transformed into a leisure park and became known by it's present name.
Puerto Prinsesa Subterranean River National Park
Known to be the world's longest underground river,the Puerto Prinsesa
Subterranean River National parkwinds through an awesome cavern underneath St. Paul Mountain before joining the South China Sea . It was declared in 1999 as the Natural World heritage Site by the UNESCO.
Honda Bay
The Honda Bay is home to several Magnificient islands like, Snake Island, Starfish Island, and Pandan Island. Divers may explore any of the divesites in the area, all of which are accessible on a day trip from the city.
Ulugan Bay

Coron Island
Coron Island is the prime ecological destination for tourist,20 min.boat ride from Coron town.
Limestone cliff surrounds magnificient lagoons, and fringing reef protects the entrance to coves and mangrove growth that lead to hidden lakes.
Kayangan Lake
The cleanest inland body of water in the Philipines. A majestic rock formations made up the beautiful & unique lake, it is 250 feet above sea level facing Coron town.
Barracuda Lake
Unique divesesite because of thermo clines volcanic hot water at about 12 meters deep but still rich for underwater creatures.
Siete Pescados
Named after seven sisters who were said to have drowned i the area after a strong typhoon. Siete Pescados is a cluster of seven small islands strung between Coron & Busuanga islands. The area is good for snorkeling.
Calauit
Calauit Island belongs to Calamianes group of Islands and covers an area of 3,700 hectares.The island is rich in wildlife and it's relative isolation. A home of endemic and Arican Animals.
